Cockroaches are the most common pest in households. While german cockroaches are very common in Australian households and commercial places, there are more than 4.500 different types of cockroaches in the world. Cockroaches do not bite but can cause health problems if left unattended. Finding cockroaches is not a sign of a dirty house. In 3 or 4 months baby cockroaches will grow into fully grown adults. Lifespan of a cockroach is generally one year. Female cockroaches can produce between 200 to 300 offspring in a year.
